    Hi Gianluca,

If you refer to PokaTheme 4, I’m sending you an example from our Demo, of the default category page. It pretty much does what you want, if I’m not mistaken: https://demos.pokatheme.com/pokatheme/category/betting-news/

Hello I have the Sportbetting v2 of pokatheme.
If I have blog/betting category without a page, the theme go to redirect on first article of my page (example go on blog/betting/the-betting-play and not on blog/betting).
If I create the new page “betting” I have a normal page without articles inside instead like standard category “blog”. The blog is setting on WordPress page articles. But I don’t know how to create archive pages of single categories of my pages and articles. I can setting only blog for articles pages. The pokatheme doesn’t work automatically for the another category page archives. In the end I would edit the each category page for write some words before that show me the articles of specific categories.

    Hi Gianluca,

I tried the scenarios in some Demo site locally and I can normally see the category pages and the subcategory pages, and I am not redirected to the first article as you mention.

    1. In your example, the “betting” is a category or a subcategory?

    2. What is the structure of your Permalinks, could you check and let us know? You can find these under Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks.

    3. Does this happen only while using SportsBetting, or with other themes, too (e.g. using some of the twentytwenty default WordPress themes)?

    4. If you create a new Page, and give it a slug of “betting”, then it makes sense that when you go to yoursite.com/betting you see the new blank page you created. In order to add some content/text to the category page, you will need to overwrite some template inside the child theme using PHP.

Hello, I have to thank the pokatheme’s support for the fix the issue on permalink. They cancelled the dot “.” on category base in the wordpress permalink settings for hide the “category” word in permalink. At the end they disabled in Yoast SEO plugin the “Show the categories prefix in the slug” option for Categories.

Thank you very much for the support!

    Best regards
    Gianluca
